Production Area: The production area is located in the northern part of the province of Modena, in the area between the municipalities of Carpi and Sorbara. This area enjoys a particularly favourable microclimate for the cultivation of Lambrusco.
Soil Characteristics: The soils are predominantly clayey and silty, with a good presence of organic matter. This soil type gives the Lambrusco Salamini notes of fruit and floral fragrances.
Vineyards: The vineyards are cultivated with the traditional pergola system, which allows excellent exposure and aeration of the grapes. The average age of the vines is around 15-20 years.
Colour: The Lambrusco Salamino di Santa Croce presents an intense ruby-red color, with violet reflections.
Bouquet: On the nose, you can perceive fruity aromas of blackberry, raspberry and cherry, with delicate floral notes of violet.
Flavour: In the mouth, it is fresh, lively and slightly sparkling. The taste is soft, harmonious and well-balanced between the acid and sweet components.
Food Pairing: Excellent as an aperitif, it pairs perfectly with cold cuts, cheeses, pasta dishes and red meats, even grilled.
