Famiglia Cecchi Wine
Rosato La Mora Maremma Toscana DOC Cecchi
Sourced from the scenic Maremma region of Tuscany, this rosé benefits from the area's unique microclimate and terroir. The Mediterranean climate, featuring warm, dry summers and mild, wet winters, provides ideal conditions for producing high-quality rosé wines.
The vineyards are situated on well-draining, predominantly sandy soils with a mix of clay and limestone, contributing to the wine's minerality and complexity while ensuring optimal drainage and aeration.
Crafted from a blend of red grape varieties, primarily Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, the grapes are cultivated in sustainably managed vineyards. The Guyot training system is used to ensure even light penetration and air circulation, promoting the development of the grapes' aromatic compounds and acidity.
Color: displays a beautiful, pale salmon-pink color with delicate, shimmering hues
Bouquet: The wine offers a delicate and fragrant bouquet, with aromas of fresh red berries, such as strawberries and raspberries, complemented by hints of citrus and delicate floral notes.
Taste: On the palate, the Rosato La Mora is crisp and refreshing, with a harmonious balance of vibrant acidity and a subtle creaminess. The flavour mirror the aromas, with a clean, lingering finish.
This versatile rosé wine pairs exceptionally well with a variety of dishes, including light salads, grilled seafood, charcuterie, and soft, creamy cheeses. It also makes a delightful aperitif.
