Wine Box - La Mora Maremma Toscana DOC Rosso Cecchi

Grown in the coastal Maremma region of Tuscany, this wine benefits from the area's unique microclimate and terroir.

The vineyards are situated on predominantly clay-based soils with excellent drainage, providing ideal conditions for cultivating Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot grape varieties.

The vines are planted at high density to ensure optimal sun exposure and air circulation. Careful canopy management and green harvesting techniques are employed to ensure the grapes reach optimal maturity.

During vinification, the grapes are handpicked at peak ripeness and undergo temperature-controlled fermentation with frequent pump-overs to extract color, tannins, and aromatics. Malolactic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, enhancing the wine's smoothness and complexity.

Color: Deep ruby red with violet hues.

Bouquet: Intense aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, complemented by notes of spice, tobacco and subtle oak.

Taste: Medium-bodied with a smooth, velvety texture. Flavors of dark berries, vanilla and toasted oak are balanced by well-integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.

This versatile rosé wine pairs exceptionally well with a variety of dishes, including light salads, grilled seafood, charcuterie, and soft, creamy cheeses. It also makes a delightful aperitif.
